Over the weekend St. Matthews Martial Arts is very proud of the great time we had at Master Joan Richert’s seminar in Madison, Wisconsin. Our friends over at the Villari’s Martial Arts Cooperative hosted a seminar where Master Joan demonstrated concepts from the Great Grandmaster Fredrick J. Villari’s famous Four Ways of Fighting. Check out our YouTube channel for clips and more Master Joan awesomeness.
For those of you that aren’t familiar, the dojo in Madison opened in 1989. Master Murphy is one of the highest ranking females in the entire Shaolin Kempo Karate system. She has taught Tai Chi, Shaolin Kempo Karate, Aerobic Kickboxing, and more in cities across the United States and Canada as well. If you have a chance to check out their Facebook page and see all the great stuff they’ve done lately.
